Octo Games is a product-driven game development company creating PC games with a strong focus on visual style, narrative, and systemic gameplay. We work on niche gaming projects, including titles in the adult segment, so we are looking for a recruiter who is comfortable working with 18+ themes and a wide range of game development specialists.

We are currently looking for a Full Cycle Recruiter who can independently manage vacancies from intake to candidate start date, build strong communication with hiring managers, and strengthen hiring not only through execution, but also through process improvements.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle: from vacancy briefing to offer and candidate onboarding.

  • Gather and refine the vacancy profile together with the hiring manager.

  • Build a sourcing strategy for each specific role.

  • Source candidates through various channels: LinkedIn, job boards, Telegram, Discord, профильные сообщества, direct search, and alternative sourcing approaches.

  • Conduct initial candidate screening: assess relevant experience, motivation, soft skills, salary expectations, and overall fit with the team.

  • Organize and coordinate the full interview process.

  • Provide high-quality feedback to both candidates and hiring managers.

  • Monitor the recruitment funnel, timelines, and conversion rates across vacancies.

  • Work with offers, support candidates until their start date, and maintain communication during preboarding.

  • Participate in improving recruitment processes: templates, interview structure, assessment quality, analytics, and candidate experience.

  • When needed, support market mapping, talent pipeline development, and building a database of strong candidates for future openings.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who can do more than just “close vacancies” — someone who understands the business goal behind hiring, can maintain a strong pace, and build mature communication within the team.


2+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in IT, gamedev, digital, or product teams.

  • Experience managing vacancies in a full-cycle format.

  • Ability to work with different types of roles: from junior/middle positions to strong specialist-level hires.

  • Hands-on experience in sourcing and direct search.

  • Strong HR/recruitment interviewing skills.

  • Ability to assess not only formal experience, but also motivation, communication maturity, flexibility, and overall alignment.

  • Strong self-organization skills: ability to manage several vacancies in parallel without sacrificing quality.

  • Experience working with spreadsheets, ATS, or HRM systems.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced team environment with feedback and changing priorities.

  • Readiness to work with the company’s adult-focused niche without internal discomfort.

Nice to have

  • Experience hiring in gamedev.

  • Experience closing creative and production roles: game designers, producers, narrative designers, artists, UI/UX specialists, 3D artists, developers, QA, etc.

  • Understanding of remote team dynamics.

  • Experience improving recruitment and hiring processes.

  • English level sufficient for reading resumes, vacancies, and communicating in an international market.
