Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in IT and game development and is currently looking for an experienced Product Manager (UAV) for a Ukrainian miltech company developing codified drones and ammunition that have been actively used on the frontline for several years.
We are looking for a specialist who will be able to build and develop UAV product(s) from mission requirements through to serial production.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Product Discovery & Requirements
Collecting, analyzing, and formalizing needs from end users (operators/units), as well as from internal teams.
Defining Product Vision / PRD (Product Requirements Document) / Roadmap (short cycles, focus on practical value).
Translating field “pain points” into clear engineering requirements: what we build, why, constraints, and how success is measured.
Delivery with R&D and Production
Task definition and prioritization for hardware/software teams (R&D, embedded, integrations, hardware design/mechanics, etc.).
Aligning trade-offs: cost / timeline / risks / manufacturability / maintainability / scalability for mass production.
Ensuring implementation aligns with product goals + acceptance of deliverables (criteria, test plans, protocols).
Testing & Iteration
Planning and coordinating testing, collecting feedback, analyzing “what broke and why.”
Continuous iterations: improving performance, stability, usability, and component reliability.
Documentation
Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, configuration descriptions, instructions, and release notes.
Alignment with production/logistics: BOM (Bill of Materials), component substitutions, standardization.
Systems & Process
Building a repeatable product management process in a miltech environment (backlog, prioritization, artifacts, follow-ups).
Maintaining a single source of truth for requirements, versions, and product status (ensuring the entire team operates on consistent, up-to-date information).
What kind of professional are we looking for?
Experience in Product / Program / Project Management in environments involving physical products: miltech / aerospace / defense / robotics / automotive / embedded / hardware.
Understanding of the hardware product lifecycle: prototype → testing → production preparation → mass production.
Ability to write structured requirements (PRD, specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria) and work in ambiguous environments.
Strong collaboration with engineers: basic technical literacy, ability to ask the right questions, and evaluate trade-offs.
Hands-on experience managing priorities across multiple teams/domains.
Nice to Have
Experience with UAVs/drones, including working with field units/operators.
Experience in government organizations, aviation, or mature miltech manufacturers.
English proficiency for technical communication.
What is important for us in a person?
Ownership and autonomy: ability to take full responsibility, make decisions independently, and drive tasks to completion without constant supervision.
Systems thinking: sees the product as an end-to-end system (user → requirements → engineering → production → operation).
Communication and stakeholder alignment: able to effectively collaborate with R&D, production, management, and end users.
Resilience and speed: capable of working under time constraints and in high-stakes environments.
Quality and impact focus: prioritizes real-world product performance and user value.
Why do we enjoy working here?
Mission & Impact:
Direct impact on Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
Products are actively used in real combat conditions.
Fast iteration cycle: frontline feedback → improvements → new iterations.
Ownership & Autonomy
Direct reporting line to the CEO with fast decision-making and no bureaucracy.
Full freedom to shape and develop the product.
Ability to define product vision and roadmap independently.
Opportunity to build new products from scratch.
Minimal management layers → fast execution.

Profitable and scaling business.
Plans to expand into international markets.
Work on products for the global miltech market.
Strong Engineering & Production Base
In-house production and R&D.
Ability to rapidly test and implement solutions.
Direct collaboration with engineers.
